Peanut Butter Popcorn Balls

 

4 quarts of popped popcorn

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 1/2 cups white corn syrup

1 1/2 cups of peanut butter (either kind)

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

 

Keep the popcorn warm in a 250° oven. Mix the sugar and syrup together

in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a full boil and boil for 30 seconds,

stirring constantly. Remove from heat and beat in the vanilla and the

peanut butter. Pour over the warm popcorn. Mix well. Shape into balls

and wrap in wax paper or Safari Wrap. Store in a cool place
