I have this simmering right now and with a nice cool breeze coming in the

window it is scenting my whole house with this wonderful aroma.

Fall Harvest Simmering Potpourri

Small Simmering Crock Pot (it holds about one cup)

1 cup boiling water

2 cinnamon stick - break in half

Whole Cloves - about 8

Dried apple slices - cut them into smaller pieces

Orange peel zest(optional, I don't always add it, but if I have an orange I

do and it adds a wonderful scent to this)

Plug in your simmering potpourri crock pot, add everything except the

boiling water(which I make in the microwave). Pour the boiling water over

this and let simmer all day. Add extra boiling water as needed. ***Always

add very hot water, because it will take a long time for you simmering

potpourri crock pot to heat it if you don't and you won't get the aroma

until it is hot.

Tip - Sometimes I add some loose Holiday spice tea leaves blend to this

instead of the apples and orange zest.
