Guest guest
This is such a yummy dip, and the presentation of serving it in the small pumpkin makes this a true Halloween favorite for a chilly Autumn night. Pizza Dip In A Pumpkin 1 small pie pumpkin ( 2 1/2 lbs) 1/2 cup finely chopped onion 1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper 1 Tb butter or margarine 2 1/2 cups pizza sauce 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup finely chopped vegetarian pepperoni 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 tsp Italian seasoning Breadsticks & crackers Cut top off pumpkin; scoop out seed and fibers. Replace top; bake pumpkin on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes or until hot. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender. Stir in the pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Cook and stir over medium heeat until heated through and cheese is melted. Pour into hot pumpkin. Serve with bread sticks and crackers. Yield: 3 cups dip ~ PT ~ When is someone able to witness to the souls of others? When she is able to witness her own soul first.
