This version features cabbage, and added cheese for kick. 4 potatoes, boiled and peeled 1 small or medium head of cabbage, shredded, cooked (I like to steam mine) 1/4 cup milk 3/4 TB grated onion 2 TB butter 1 tsp. salt, to taste 1 tsp. ground black pepper, or to taste 3 oz. grated Cheddar cheese, optional Mash the potatoes, butter, salt, pepper, and milk with mixer until light and fluffy.
