Guest guest Posted October 1, 2007 Report Share Posted October 1, 2007 Marinara Sauce 1 small onion, chopped 2 small cloves garlic, minced 2 tsp. olive oil 2 cans (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes, undrained 1 can (6 z.) tomato paste 1 TB dried basil 1-1/4 tsp. sea salt 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper 1 TB blackstrap molasses In a large sauce pan, heat oil over medium high heat. Add onions and garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, then add the remaining ingredients. Cook for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
