Hi my name is Atma. I've been a lacto-vegetarian for 27 years. I love

food that brings comfort. I raised two vegetarian children 11 & 15,

boys. We eat dairy, but no eggs as well as no meat, fish and poultry.

I am also a yoga teacher and have taught veg. cooking classes and teach

yoga out of my home and serve healing dal or soup from India, salad,

plain yogurt and Yogi Tea to the yoga students every week. More

recently I have helped people with cleanses and plan on helping people

shift towards a vegetarian diet in whatever way I can through offering

support on my website. Soon I'll be eating more foods of the season and

going through a Gentle Fall Cleanse, which is featured on my website

yogamurrieta.com in case you are interested (there's a recipe page

too). It's main focus is Green and Seasonal Foods with lots of other

flexible foods, but eliminating meat, wheat, heavier dairy and a few

other culprit foods that tend to slow the digestion, put on weight and

create havoc in the physical body. I'll be be eating wonderful table

squashes like butternut, sugar pumpkins, acorn, banana anyones that are

orange, sweet and delicious. Also I will be also be incorporating the

fruits of the season like apples, figs, persimmons and pomegranates and

nuts and beans and all the grains except for wheat. It'll be fun. So

if you have any great squash, apple, rice or tofu recipes I'd obliged.

Blessings and look forward to sharing. Atma
