Lentil Stew (rice cooker recipe)

I made this a few nights ago and it was very good.

The mustard and little sugar gave the lentils a BBQ

baked flavor.

 

Lentil Stew (rice cooker recipe)

 

1 cup brown lentils

4 1/3 cups water

1/2 onion chopped

1 (15oz) can of sliced tomatoes with juice

1 to 1 1/2 tsps. dried mustard

2 tsps. raw sugar

 

Placed all in rice cooker and press start.

Carefully open and stir about 10 minutes info cooking,

close and let finish cooking.

I took some to 2 coworkers the next day and they

didn't wait for lunch, ate in the morning by 10am.

 

 

 

 

The seed is in bloom, will it meet an early doom

or survive in a tranquil sea?

Does it face an early end, will it find a real friend,

should it be called humanity?

Will creation of man bring death by his hand

or will life be his destiny?

What is the total cooking time on this Lentil Stew? Sounds good.
