My Intro - Heather

Hi Heather,

Welcome to the Feral Vegetarian!

I went back to work last year after staying home with

my son for 6 years. It was hard at first, but really

it's been fine. I hope it is fine for you too.

So, what is the hardest part about being vegetarian

for you? Feel free to vent here. Most of us have

gone through/or are still going through similar

situations with maintaining a veggie diet.

The hardest part about being vegetarian is being around all of the meat

eaters in my family. My husband and my 4 kids. Well, my youngest daughter

doesn't really eat much meat. But my husband is an avid bbq'er and it

smells so good and it makes me want some. I know I just need to find some

alternatives for him to BBQ for me to eat that are vegetarian. I just have

to find some really good recipes so I don't feel left out of the BBQ. We

BBQ year round several times a week so it is a huge thing. And my husband

has a fantastic way of making food so yummy! LOL
