Enjoy, Judy Pizza Panini Pizza Sauce Fresh Spinach leaves Fresh sliced mushrooms Feta Cheese Sliced black Olives Whole Wheat Hoagie Buns, Rustic French Bread, Semolina Bread or Hearty Multigrain bread, cut into thick slices. Spread a slice of bread with the Pizza sauce, then layer the Feta cheese, Mushrooms, Black Olives and Spinach leaves. Cover with the other slice of thick bread. Toast in your Panini grill. Guest guest Posted September 14, 2007 Report Share Posted September 14, 2007 oh yum, judy! thanks for sending this. as a teenager, i worked at a little pizza place and we made pizza subs....my favorite was pizza sauce, mozzarella, black olives and mushrooms on fresh french bread....toasted in the pizza oven until bubbly. they were messy sandwiches but good. I watched them make it and after tasting it, knew this was a keeper of a recipe. And it is so easy. They didn't put so much pizza sauce on it that it was messy though. I'm glad you enjoy these too.
