Guest guest
A 1/4 cup of almonds isn't too bad. For some reason I was thinking it would take more than that to get a decent cup of almond milk. I will have to try it one weekend. Could you post more specific instructions for me? Like how much water, how long to soak, etc. Thanks a bunch. ~ PT ~ Birds make their nests in circles for theirs is the same religion as ours. ~ Black Elk, Oglala Sioux, (1863 -1950) ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~> , " christie_0131 " <christie0131 wrote: > > I didn't count them, PT, but 1/4 cup of almonds made about 3 cups of > almond milk. Guest guest
Ok here is a repost: ......At home I have started to make my own dairy-free milks and the recipe is still being refined: Almond Milk 1/4 cup blanched almonds, soaked in water overnight or for 8-12 hours 1 pint (or maybe more like 3 cups) of water 2 or 3 dates (or more to taste) or several drops of date syrup Blend well and strain through a fine mesh strainer. Store in the fridge. , " ~ PT ~ " <patchouli_troll wrote: > > A 1/4 cup of almonds isn't too bad. > For some reason I was thinking it would take more > than that to get a decent cup of almond milk. > I will have to try it one weekend. > Could you post more specific instructions for me? > Like how much water, how long to soak, etc. > Thanks a bunch. > > ~ PT ~ > > Birds make their nests in circles for theirs is the same religion as > ours. > ~ Black Elk, Oglala Sioux, (1863 -1950) > ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~> > , " christie_0131 " <christie0131@> wrote: > > > > I didn't count them, PT, but 1/4 cup of almonds made about 3 cups of > > almond milk.
