Guest guest
Here is an interesting dressing recipe that I recently tried. Sort of like a French dressing. Delicious sprinkled over steamed or stir-fried veggies, too. I even dipped pieces of grilled veggie burger in it. Tangy Salad Dressing 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 1/4 cup turbinado sugar 1/3 cup ketchup 1/4 cup finely chopped onion 1 Tbs vegetarian Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp salt 1 cup olive oil Salad greens and croutons In a blender or food processor, combine the vinegars, sugar, ketchup, onion, Worcestershire sauce and salt; cover and process until smooth. While processing, gradually add oil in a steady stream. Serve over salad greens with croutons. Yield: 2 cups ~ PT ~ Simplicity is making the journey of this life with just baggage enough. ~ Charles Dudley Warner, editor and author (1829-1900)
