Guest guest Posted August 21, 2007 Report Share Posted August 21, 2007 DARK SPICY PUMPKIN PIE 1 pie crust, unbaked 2 large eggs 1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (optional) 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1/4 cup maple flavored syrup 1 1/2 cups canned pumpkin 1 cup undiluted evaporated milk whipped cream Beat eggs till whites and yolks are combined. Add brown sugar, salt, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir to blend. Then, blend in syrup, pumpkin and evaporated milk. Place in pie shell.
