Guest guest
Cabbage Soup 5 Potatoes, peeled and cut in med. size chunks 4 Carrots - peeled and cut in med. size chunks 1 Onion, chopped in large pieces 2 c. Green beans 1 head of Cabbage, coarsely chopped 3-4 qt. water Salt to Taste 1 T. butter or Smart Balance Light(this is vegan) 1 T. Ms. Dash Bring the water to a boil, add everything except the Cabbage. Boil until the veggies are tender and then add the cabbage. Boil until the cabbage is tender crisp, about 5 minutes. Serve. If you just want to use this as a side dish instead of soup, use a slotted spoon and dish up the veggies onto your plate. This dish is very versitle. Sometimes I only use Potatoes, Carrots and Cabbage along with the seasonings. Enjoy, Judy
