Guest guest
Just wondering if anyone has plans for a summer holiday or even a 4th of July celebration gathering tomorrow? We were invited to some friend's home to have a BBQ, and I am the only vegetarian that will likely be there. They are very nice and always have some black bean veggie burgers, and there are also plenty of salads, chips, and desserts to enjoy as well. I plan to make a pasta salad to contribute to the day's festivities. I am just so happy I get a day off from work in the middle of the week, even though it means having to go into work one hour earlier on Thursday. So what are you all doing? ~ PT ~ Dark is the night, far is the dawning. Sing for the shining of light on the way! Guest guest
Hello, I have the day off. We'll probably stay inside, close all the windows and turn the AC on, since Buku, the dog, gets totally freaked out by the explosions and whistles and noises of fireworks. We'll have potato salad and fruit salad and my wife, who is still an omnivore, will have a Hebrew National hotdog or two and I'll have a couple of soy sausages. I'd never had this particular brand/type before and they looked somewhat interesting. I got them at Whole Foods. I shall see how they taste. They are: elburrito food products Soy chicken with apples and cranberries http://www.elburrito.com/sausages.html Maybe I will try them with the new key lime habanero hot sauce I found. So, no gathering of people, other than just us, probably watching a movie or me lamenting over the external hard drive that just died or the stereo amplifier that just had one channel die (obviously no longer stereo . .) or the chair whose arm just fell off. I'm having a not so great week, eh?
