Guest guest Posted April 27, 2007 Report Share Posted April 27, 2007 Cornbread Waffles 1-1/2 cups plain white cornmeal 1/2 cup all purpose flour 2 TB sugar 2-1/2 tsp. baking powder 3/4 tsp. salt 1 large egg 1-1/2 cups milk Stir together first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Stir together egg and milk; add to cornmeal mixture, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Bake in a preheated, oiled waffle iron just until crisp, about 4 minutes.
