Guest guest Posted April 12, 2007 Report Share Posted April 12, 2007 Crock Pot Meatless Sloppy Joe's 2 cups thinly sliced onions 2 cups chopped green bell peppers 1 can (15-1/2 oz.) kidney beans, rinsed, drained and mashed 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce 2 TB ketchup 1 TB prepared yellow mustard 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped 1 tsp. chili powder Cider vinegar, optional 2 sandwich rolls, halved Combine all ingredients except rolls in crock pot/slow cooker. Cover; cook on LOW heat setting for 5 to 5-1/2 hours or until vegetables are tender. Season to taste with cider vinegar, if desired. Serve on rolls. Makes: 4 servings.
