I would have never thought that you could cook alfalfa sprouts. You learn new things every day. Thanks! Judy - paru rau Thursday, April 05, 2007 11:18 PM [sPAM] Re: Re: iso: recipes using sugar snap peas - jigilou my mom makes this great recipe using sugar snap peas, eggs, alfafa sprouts and white (or brown) rice. just thinking about it makes me hungry! it's essentially a stir fry. you can as much or as little of the above ingredients, but rice should be enough to make it hearty. sorry if this is vague. it's late and i have a attention-seeking cat on my lap.. ingredients: olive oil cooked rice (white or brown) sugar snap peas egg(s) alfafa sprouts soy sauce black pepper one green chili (totally optional) take cooked rice, and add it to the pan. make sure there is enough olive oil to brown the rice nicely. add one (or two) eggs, and fry. add the sugar snap peas and alfafa sprouts last, and cook along with the rice and eggs. just add soy sauce and black pepper to taste. it's really a " snap " to make;) .
