Guest guest Posted March 6, 2007 Report Share Posted March 6, 2007 Herbed Cheese Bread Combine: 2 cups flour 1 tbsp sugar 2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp basil ½ tsp thyme ¼ tsp sage or oregano, depending on which you prefer ¼ cup margarine cut in Add: 1 cup shredded medium/old/jack cheddar 1 egg, beaten ½ cup yogurt ½ cup milk Dump into a round or square 9 " pan, sprinkle with poppy seeds, and bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
