Guest guest Posted February 27, 2007 Report Share Posted February 27, 2007 Asian Cole Slaw ~~~Sesame Dressing~~~ 3 TB rice vinegar or white wine vinegar 2 tsp. sugar 2 tsp. sesame seeds, toasted 2 tsp. soy sauce 1 tsp. sesame oil 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes, optional ~~~Cole Slaw~~~ 2 cups (1/2 lb.) Chinese Napa cabbage, finely shredded 1/4 cup jicama, peeled and chopped 1/4 cup green bell pepper, chopped 1/4 cup carrots, peeled and coarsely shredded In a large tightly covered container, shake all dressing ingredients. Add Cole slaw ingredients to Dressing container, cover and shake to cover with the dressing. Makes:4 servings (about 2/3 cup ea.) Diabetic Exchanges: 1 Vegetable, 1/2 Fat.
