We made this tonight and it was wonderful. Nice crispy, crunchy top and

chewy, cheesy noodles.

Yummm.

Enjoy,

Judy

Baked Macaroni and Cheese

1 (16 ounce) package elbow

macaroni

1 1/4 cup 2 % milk

4 eggs

1 (12 ounce) container sour

cream

2 teaspoon seasoning salt

1 T. minced dry onions

1/2 t. Garlic powder

2 t. oregano, divided

3 cups shredded Cheddar

cheese

3/4 cup grated Parmesan

cheese

3/4 c. Italian Bread Crumbs

Smart Balance Buttery Spray with Organic Soy or

1 T. melted Butter

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook

for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain and rinse with cold water.

In a bowl mix milk, eggs, sour cream, garlic powder, minced seasoning

salt, dried onions, 1 t. oregano and milk. Mix the cheese and the other

teaspoon of oregano together in a bowl Layer 1/2 of macaroni, cheese mix,

and milk mixture into a 9X13 sprayed Casserole dish. . Layer the remaining

half of macaroni and milk mixture. Add the bread crumbs to the remaining

cheese mix and sprinkle on top. Spray with Smart Balance Buttery Liquid

Spray or pour melted butter evenly over the top. .I prefer the Smart Balance

Butter Spray with Organic Soy, because it is a lot easier to evenly coat

the top and it has no calories. It is in the dairy case near the liquid

margarines.

Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes or until milk mixture is done

and crisy brown on top.
