I am now REALLY reading labels. They recommend not eating foods that have the following listed as the first 5 ingredients. Simple sugars Enriched,bleached or refined flour High fructose corn syrup I had no idea that our bodies did not know what to do with high fructose corn syrup...it is like poison to our bodies. Foods with fructose make you hungry and shut off your appetite. I believe there is a new movement against obesity much like the movement against cigarettes.The beliefs now are, that we CAN prevent having Coronary Artery Disease and bypass surgery through mindful eating.Type 2 Diabetes as well,could be a thing of the past. There are so many benefits to a healthy vegetarian diet. I look foreword to the time when I am not seen as being so different by my choices and personal beliefs.
