Guest guest
This is great for a quick meal or for parties, brunches and showers. It is colorful and folks love it. Cool Veggie Pizza 8 oz. can of Crescent Roll dough(Pillsbury or store brand) 8 0z. bar of Cream Cheese 1 T. of Mayo or Veganaise 1 T. Dill weed 2 cups of assorted raw veggie, chopped small. I like tomatoes, carrots, broccoli, green or red peppers, yellow squash, cucumbers to name a few. You can choose what you enjoy. Directions Open the cylinder of Crescent Rolls Dough and separate the rolls into 8 triangles along the perforations. Make a circle with them on a Round Baking Stone http://tinyurl.com/sevoj or large pizza pan. Put the points, pointing towards the middle of the stone/pan and the with part of the triangle to the outside edge. Using a small rolling pin, make into one smooth round pizza shape. Pinch together any areas that the triangles don't connect completely together to the one beside it. Bake at 375 for about 12 minutes or until brown. Remove and let it cool on the stone/pan. Soften the cream cheese in a bowl, in the microwave a few seconds or put out at room temp when you start making the crust, so it has a little time to warm up. Blend together the cream cheese, mayonnaise and dill weed. Spread over the cooled crust. Mix together the chopped vegetables that you have chosen and sprinkle them over the cream cheese mixture. Press them with your open hands into the cream cheese, so they don't fall off when folks are eating it. Using a pizza cutter, cut a grid pattern on the pizza shape, so that you have lots of small squares for folks to pick up and eat with their hands. I serve these right off my pizza stone. It is so yummy and easy. Yours to Enjoy, Judy
