Guest guest Posted January 8, 2007 Report Share Posted January 8, 2007 Asparagus Salad with Mustard Dill Sauce 1 cup plain yogurt 1/4 cup Dijon mustard 1/4 mayonnaise or Miracle Whip salad dressing 2 TB fresh dill or 2 tsp. dry dill 2 TB fresh chives, snipped, or 2 tsp. dried chives Salt and ground black pepper, to taste 1/2 lb. asparagus per person, trimmed and peeled Combine well all the ingredients except asparagus. Cook the asparagus till barely tender in boiling water, and immediately cool it in ice water to stop the cooking process. Place the asparagus on a large oval or rectangular platter and spoon some of the sauce over the asparagus, and pass the rest at the table.
