Guest guest
Fried Vegetarian " Chicken " 2 - 12.5 oz. cans of Worthington Fri-chik Chicken substitute http://tinyurl.com/fw3lk 1 c. Italian seasoned Bread Crumbs pinch of Ms. Dash pinch of Lawry's seasoned Salt *Note*Fri-chik comes canned in a broth. The wetness of the broth will cause the breading meal mixture to stick well to the Fri-Chik. Using Med. heat, Heat Canola oil to about 1/4 inch depth in a Frying pan. Mix the Italian Bread crumbs, Ms. Dash and Lawry's seasoned salt together in a cereal bowl. Using a folk, dip out pieces of Fri-chik from the broth in the can and immedately put into the bowl of bread crumb mixture, flipping over to coat both sides well. Put into the hot oil and fry on both sides until crispy and brown. It doesn't take long. When done, put onto a sheet pan, covered in a double layer of paper towels to absorb excess oil. Freeze the broth in a ziplock back to use in soups and to make gravy with. Enjoy, Judy
