This is a great Potluck Recipe.

 

Baked Bean Quintet

 

1 c. chopped onion (1 large)

1 c. garlic, minced

1 T. Smart Balance or Butter

2 - 16 oz.bags of frozen lima bean, cooked

1 - 16 oz Can of Vegetarian Baked Bean

1 - 15 1/2 oz can of Red Kidney Beans, drained

1 - 15 oz. can Garbanzo Beans/Chick Pea, drained

3/4 c. Ketchup

1/2 c. Molasses

1/4 c. packed Brown Sugar

1 T. prepared Mustard

1 t. Braggs Liquid Amino's (optional)

1 - 19 oz. can of Worthington Vege-links (Optional, but a favorite with us)

In a skillet saute the onions and Garlic in Smart Balance or butter until

tender. Drain the Vega-link, freezing the broth in a ziplock bag for using

in soups or making gravy. Slice the Vegelinks into 1/4 inch rounds.

Combine all of the ingredients and pour into a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish.

Bake covered in a 375 F degrees oven for 1 hour. Makes 12-16 servings.

 

* This may be prepared in a Crock pot, if desired, on Low for 10 hrs or high

for 4-5 hrs.

Oops that garlic should read, 1 clove, NOT 1 cup.
