Guest guest Posted January 8, 2007 Report Share Posted January 8, 2007 Sweet and Sour Red Cabbage 2 T. Brown Sugar 2 T. Vinegar or lemon juice 2 T. Water 1/4 t. salt 1 T. Smart Balance, Butter or oil 2 c. shredded red or green cabbage 3/4 chopped apple (optional) In a large skillet, combine the brown sugar, vinegar or lemon juice, water, Smart Balance and salt. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until hot, stirring occasionally. Stir in the cabbage and apple. Cover and cook over medium-low heat about 5 minutes or until cabbage is tender crisp.
