Guest guest Posted December 28, 2006 Report Share Posted December 28, 2006 Cherry Angel Squares Ingredients 1 12 Ounce Angel Food Cake 1 Cup Whipping Cream 1 8 Ounce Cream Cheese -- softened 1 Cup Powdered Sugar 1 20 Ounce Light Cherry Pie Filling Or Topping -- chilled Directions Cut cake into 1-inch cubes. There should be about 8 cups. In a medium bowl with an electric mixer on high speed, beat whipping cream until soft peaks form. In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in 1/4 of whipped cream to lighten cheese. Fold in remaining whipped cream until thoroughly blended. Add cake cubes and fold until well mixed. Turn into a 7x11 inch baking dish, spreading evenly and smoothing top. Spread chilled pie topping evenly over top. Refrigerate until serving time.
