Guest guest
Awhile back I had a Teddy Bear Picnic Party for the children in our family including children of friends. I held the Party at the mountain cabin, sending out hand written invitations to each child. The theme being Teddy Bear Picnic I drew a map to the cabin and wrote the words to the song ..including the words " if you go into the woods today you better go in disguise...because today's the day the Teddy Bear's have their picnic " .. I made sure that each child invited would have their choice of a new stuffed Teddy Bear. I baked Teddy Bear shaped cupcakes and put out frosting so the children could decorate them . I think the parents and grandparents had as much if not more fun than the children. We probably had at least 16 children plus their parents and grand parents. We shared a picnic lunch and some stayed to camp out that night. We had a camp fire story-sing along and sang the Teddy Bear Picnic Song. Many had great real life bear stories to tell. What wonderful memories Sending smiles and hugs Deanna
Guest guest
This sounds like such fun, Deanna. I camped in the Canadian Rockies for months in the 70s and have many real-life bear stories. Please can I come next time?
