Guest guest
Hi All! I have just joined the group and thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Ellen and I live in London England although originally from the States and Canada. I am 55 as of last month but still think I am 29. I am not a vegetarian but an avid recipe collector so I hope to gain knowledge here and learn about being a vegetarian. I am sure that I have recipes in my vast collection that will be welcomed here. Looking forward to getting to know you and to sharing my recipes. Cauliflower Pancakes 1 head cauliflower 1 egg or egg substitute 3 tbsp matzo meal salt & pepper, to taste 1/3 cup oil (vegetable works best but olive or nut could be used) Boil cauliflower in unsalted water untils just tender. Mash and add remaining ingredients, except oil. Drop from the tip of a large spoon into hot oil. Brown on both sides. Serves 4 Broccoli may be substituted for cauliflower or a mix may be used. We have been making these since 1968 and love them. I hope you will too. Enjoy! All new Mail - Get a sneak peak at messages with a handy reading pane. Guest guest
Hi Ellen, welcome to the garden of earthly delights! Yes, you and your recipes are more than welcome here. It is just my opinion, but this is the best group of folks you'll find anywhere. From your perspective as having lived in the States and now in London, can you tell me what kind of squash is a vegetable marrow? When able, I am a rabid gardener and squash lover but this has me stumped. Again, welcome. Jeanne in GA Access over 1 million songs - Music Unlimited.
