Guest guest Posted November 29, 2006 Report Share Posted November 29, 2006 Ziti With Great Northern Beans 1/4 cup vegetable broth 1/2 cup onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 20 ounces tomatoes, low sodium 1 cup navy beans, cooked 10 ounces ziti pasta 1/2 cup parsley, chopped 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1/2 teaspoon thyme, ground 1/2 teaspoon basil Cook ziti al dente and drain. Heat stock add onions and garlic, saut‚ until clear. Add tomatoes and simmer 10 minutes. Add beans and seasonings, simmer 10 more minutes. Serve over ziti and sprinkle with parsley. Serves 6.
