SMOKED STRING BEANS

 

1lb. fresh string beans

1/8 tsp. vegesal

1/8 tsp. black and red pepper blend

1/8 tsp. garlic powder

1 tbs. butter

2 caps of olive oil

2 tbs. raw sugar

1 tbs. liquid smoke

1/2 smal onion, finely chopped

1/2 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

2 cups of vegetarian broth or 2 cups of water with 1 vegetarian bouillon

 

Wash beans well and remove ends. Add broth or water into a medium pot

and gently boil. Reduce heat and add string beans and ingredients

(except butter) until done or slightly crisp, for about 10 minutes.

Tunr off flame, add butter and cover with lid for 5 minutes, then serve.
