Guest guest Posted November 28, 2006 Report Share Posted November 28, 2006 Lowfat Fruity Yogurt Makes: 6 serving Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups non/lowfat yogurt 1 tablespoon honey 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon rum extract 1 1/2 cups pineapple chunks 1/4 cup orange juice concentrate 1 banana, sliced 2/3 cup strawberries, sliced 2/3 cup kiwi, peeled and sliced 1/2 cup lowfat granola 1/4 cup chopped dates Directions: Mix together the yogurt, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and rum in a bowl. Combine the pineapple chunks and orange juice concentrate. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently. Allow to cool. Combine the pineapple/orange mixture with the bananas, strawberries and kiwis. Stir well. Add to yogurt and sprinkle granola and dates on top.
