Guest guest Posted November 28, 2006 Report Share Posted November 28, 2006 Fresh or dried Stinging Nettle is a great source of Iron. We do not have it growing inour area so I buy the Dried. It has a flavour similar to Spinach. I sprinkle a heaping tablespoon into my cooked rice along with finely sliced green onions. You can add it to virtually any savoury dish after it is cooked - use it like salt and pepper - so as not to cook the goodness out.
