With turnips, parsnips, leeks, onions, carrots, celery, vegetable broth,cilantro and I added Herb dumplings. Oh, yeah, and I had some wilted broccoli that I added. The stew was great. I didn't care for the dumplings. Perhaps because I made them with whole wheat baking flour. I took a number of recipes from here and just added whatever I had on hand. Really good on a cold day in the Georgia Mountains. And in front of the TV where football rules. Ha! Supposed to have snow flurries tonight.
