Guest guest
It always reminded me of fruit cake, never cared for either. Maybe I would like the vegetarian mincemeat recipe. I know as a kid I wouldn't touch it. I make a Hawaiian fruitcake that is so good. I can't find my recipe. It has bits of pineapple, etc in it. I'll keep looking for it. Guest guest
Hawaiian Fruitcakes are delicious, but not like holiday fruitcakes. The vegetarian version of mince meat is delicious. It seems that only certain sections of the US eat mincemeat?? Guest guest
My grandmother in Maine made mincemeat the old fashioned way. It does NOT appeal to me, not even the vegetarian version. Fruitcakes don't do much for me, either. I'm just a throwback. Marilyn Daub <mcdaub wrote: Hawaiian Fruitcakes are delicious, but not like holiday fruitcakes.
