I have an allergy to dairy, but tolerate symptoms (or take an antihistamine) and

consume

dairy...looking for tips, (again) especially with holidays coming up tobegin and

maintain a

vegan diet and like it?! How have you all transitioned away from dairy???

(specifically

cheeses and yogurt-I find soy yogurt to be yuck)

thanks,

luck with

it all.

milk, no

butter, no cheese. nothing. I have been at some rest. that have literally

nothing on the

menu I can eat. I have found that if you ask nicely and explain why Applebees

will make

sure they don't put anything in my salads. They can't promise there is nothing

but I have

never found anything in them that would make me sick, even if the menu says

there is

cheese ect in the meal.

As I am not a vegetarian but love the recipes here, I wont send

recipes to the group that I havent tried but I went and did a search

on for dairy free vegetarian recipes and came up with this

link. I have never seen this site before. Looks pretty interesting.
