Guest guest
OK so I made the heavenly rolls... they were good... well most of them! LOL I had enough to put on 3 different baking sheets, one of the sheets the rolls burned even though I left them in for the minimum amount. They were on the bottom, could this be it? Also I was expecting them to be a bit lighter like the restaurant ones, but they were really heavy almost biscuit weight. They had a wonderful taste though!! And OMG so much butter!!!!! ) Rachel ~ http://www.thelucastribe.com ~ KUSTOMIZED KIDS ~ http://www.cafepress.com/kustomizedkids Baby & Kids, Pregnancy, Natural Parenting, Wedding, & Personalized Clothing Designs Some Christmas designs are up! Guest guest
Yep, bottom rack bad, also the flour amount varies as the moisture in each bag of flour is somewhat different. I prefer a quarter pan with sides for these. How long did you knead the dough? It needs (no pun intended, lol) enough kneading to form the gluten strands and the amount of sugar and butter in them makes it necessary to knead longer. It doesn't always take the full amount of flour to make them, so you might want to try adding a half cup at a time and not add the full amount as you will be adding more on the countertop and on your hands. Hope this helps! Jeanne in GA Rachel Lucas <mommytogavin wrote: OK so I made the heavenly rolls... they were good... well most of them!
