Guest guest
I made this last night, a good bread for breakfast or dessert. 2 cups bread flour 1 cup crushed granola cereal (I used a cereal that had dried fruit in it, which is why I said breakfast or dessert.) 2 T softened butter 2 T honey 1 egg, beaten 1/4 C milk 1/2 C hot water 1 1/2 t active dry yeast place all ingredients except granola in bread machine. Let stand 5 minutes. At first set of beeps add granola. The recipe calls for it to bake in the machine but I always bake it in the oven. It didn't rise much after I took it out, maybe because I used all purpose flour. This is from my bread machine's phamphlet, by Sanyo. Does anyone know if yeast is supposed to be refrigerated? The grocery stores don't but a friend always refrigerates hers. Thanks, Amy
