Guest guest
Hi Duncan Eating out can be a problem, but I'm glad to hear the shops are okay. Jo - Duncan Samarasinghe VeganChat Group Thursday, August 03, 2006 4:51 PM Thanks for the warm welcome Thank you for the kind words regarding my blog. It occurred to me as a good idea, when I found it difficult to find online resources for veganism in Luxembourg.I figured if I blogged my experiences, I could publish the resources afterwards. It also gives me something to do, and is self-motivating.Hi Fraggle, reminds me of Fraggle Rock :)Hi Pjsparkles, glad you liked the food ideas !Hey Freebird. Yes you are right, but it is difficult to controls ones emotions at time, especially ones that stir the passion.I stumbled across the shark article by accident, but it saddened me. They are pre-historic animals, and have survived milleniaand now are been hunted out of existence for saturday afternoon entertainment. We read about similar articles concerning differentanimals, but I don't want to be come blase. It is difficult :)Jo, Luxembourg is really great. It is a beautiful place with a strong culture. For veganism, it is ok, as long as you have a kitchen. For two months, I was staying in a hotel and eating out all the time. I know I must have ingested dairy, because damn, there really is noway of knowing in a regular restaurant. I often felt bloated and lethagic. Now I have a kitchen, it is fine, the shops providevegan alternatives, nothing like in the UK/US, but enough to get by.
Guest guest
Thanks so much for the warm welcome. I appreciate the support. My husband has been supportive so far and think he will continue to be. Eugene is VERY veggie friendly place so it will definately be easier here than it would have been living in Texas. We moved from SE Texas about a year ago. I feel liek I have returned to the mothership! It is much easier to live my values here.
