Cream-less Alfredo

8 ounces lite silken tofu

1/2 cup low fat milk

2 T grated Parmesan

grated nutmeg, to taste

grated black pepper, to taste

 

 

 

 

Puree 8-ounces " lite " silken tofu with 1/2 cup low-fat milk in a

blender. Heat in a skillet until bubbling. Add 2 tablespoons grated

Parmesan cheese, grated nutmeg and ground black pepper.

ChupaNote: This makes a great base for white sauce. Change the liquid,

spice, cheese and you have a new sauce!!!
