Guest guest Posted November 2, 2006 Report Share Posted November 2, 2006 Squash Chips (also fried, sorry) Acorn Squash salt Ground ginger, cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice, or personal mixture, cayenne pepper is also good if you like hot hot hotcha Oil Peel and seed squash. Slice paper thin. (Food processor does this well.) Soak squash slices in ice water for 1 hour. Drain and pat dry. Fry in 360* hot oil until crispy and golden brown. Only fry a few at a time or you will have a mass of semi cooked squash. Drain on paper towels, lightly sprinkle with salt and seasoning of your choice.
