I don't really do salt anymore, so a lot of these

" guilty pleasures " are out of my diet now, like the

processed faux meats, BUT your homemade McGriddles

sound right up my alley! :)

Another awesome salty & sweet combo, I used to enjoy

as a kid alot was pretzels dipped in ice cream.

Mmmmm....

I too love that sweet-and-savory thing, so much so that I make

healthier veggie versions of McDonald's McGriddles with Gimme Lean

sausage and I pour a little syrup on the pancakes. I make Egg

McMuffins too, but there's something forbidden about a sweet and salt

taste in one bite, heehee...

Yes, with " sausage " ! Great with " bacon " and " breakfast links "

too. And, of course, the oatmeal that so many have mentioned.

It really is just simply the king of sweeteners. ;)

Erin,

Well, since you don't do salt, I was thinking that you could always make your

own " soysage " out of TVP minus the salt. Then it occurred to me that it would

taste like $#% & without the salt, so what's the point? Hahahahahaha............
