Guest guest Posted October 30, 2006 Report Share Posted October 30, 2006 Marinated Tomatoes 4 ripe tomatoes 1/4 cup Fresh basil leaves 3 green onions chopped 3 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice 1 tsp sugar salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste Slice tomatoes 1/2 inch thick. Arrange on a platter in a single layer according to color. Sprinkle evenly with basil leaves and green onions. In a small bowl, mix together remaining ingredients. It just tastes so fresh and brings out the wonderful flavors of what ever you put it on. My basil is growing so well and this would be a great way to use it.
