Guest guest
Ok ended up not making these tonight because one kid was gone to a Church Halloween Party and the other doesnt eat enough to make a full thing of pancakes but I have another problem.. Will they taste alright with out the ginger.. Yes I know they are called Gingerbread pancakes but of all spices that I ran out of last time I needed it. I dont have any ginger and wont have the money until Wednesday to get anymore.. Is there any other variation for this.. I am really looking forward to trying these as the only thing I do with my butter milk pancakes is add cinnamon.. Thanks in advance for Suggestions. Guest guest
This reminds me of my mom this summer...she was making gingerbread. I asked if she had enough dried ginger because I had used most of it. She LOOKED at me like I had 3 heads & said, " there's no ginger in gingerbread!!! The molasses & cinnamon make ginger! " (Ahhh, yeah, mom. whatever.) I think that if you make 'gingerbread' pancakes w/out ginger...they'll still be super yummo. Guest guest
I buy a 10 pound bag of Krusteaz buttermilk pancakes every couple of months because they are a hit with the kiddos. Before I found this recipe I had tried themwith no extra spice in them. then I started putting Cinnamon in them.. This is even better..
