Fun fact -the headquarters/offices are outside of Cleveland, Ohio where I grew up 5 miles away from the " Vitamix " sign! We use it for making wonderful smoothies, smooth gravies, creamy soups and alfredo sauces, eclair batter, fresh ground nut butters and so much more. They are wonderful and used often here. They work like nothing else on the market. You'll seem that at those fresh smoothie bars and restaurants. They really hold up well. Next time you are somewhere that they are making frozen coffee drinks or smoothies, look at their appliance they are using. It will 99.9% of the time be a Vita Mix. > > You'll love it. > Judy > - > shelly sellars > > Friday, October 27, 2006 10:12 PM > vita-mix? > > > Does anyone have or had a vita-mix? http://www.vitamix.com/ If so, did you > like it/hate it? Guest guest
I hope you find a great refrigerator while you are out there shopping today. How neat that you grew up so close to the Vita Mix Company. Call your local Sam's Club or Costco and see when they are having a demo. That is the only time you find them in those stores, but they are significantly cheaper when you get them there. Also someone mentioned that on the www.vitamix.com website it has a schedule of demo's around the country. Vita Mix has the best customer service. You'll love it. Guest guest
You are correct there. Mine is probably close to or over 15 years of age and needed a gasket. I just e-mailed the company and was answered immediately by a very polite person who knew exactly what I needed and told me how to get it and gave me choice of payment options. Fantastic for a machine that is that old. Marilyn Daub mcdaub Vanceburg, KY My Cats Knead Me!! - wwjd Saturday, October 28, 2006 10:30 AM Re: Re: vita-mix and OT?
