Re: Question of the Week

I grow pineapple sage and it makes the best tea, I

also have a gigantinormous epasote plant and it's a

must for homemade black beans but I toss it in all

beans, aids in digestion and removes the gassy

effects. I also have lavender and I dry it to use in

baked goods and teas.

I take echinachea drops in water at the first sign of

a cold coming on.

I really like Macadamia Nuts, but forget to buy them. I'll have to after this

recommendation and reminder.

Around here, some folks add peanuts to their Cokes. I bet the Cashews are good

too. I haven't done that is such a long time. Wow, that takes me back to my

childhood and moving to south Georgia, where lots of folks seemed to do it with

roasted peanuts.

Oh Pine nuts,,,, we love to roast them in a dry frying pan. My girls always

make more than our pesto needs, so they can munch on them.

Pistachio's Yummmmmmmmmm. Forgot to mention those.

I don't think there is a nut I don't crave........ LOL Do you have any

Pistachio trees near you in California, Donna? I read that is where most in

the USA are grown. BTW do you like Pistachio Pudding?

Macadamia nuts and I add them to a tropical sweet

bread or cookies.

Cashews I put in a Coke and drink it and eat the nuts

from the glass..Yes I do that!

Pine nuts for pesto, walnuts for cookies and I add

them to pasta with sauce, let's

see...............pistachio nuts just to sit and eat!

A Quorn roast with dressing on the side and one of the

vegetarian gravies from the files.

Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun.

Shine on you crazy diamond.

Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky.

Shine on you crazy diamond.

You were caught on the crossfire of childhood and stardom,

blown on the steel breeze.
