Guest guest Posted October 22, 2006 Report Share Posted October 22, 2006 Chili Con Hippie Tofu Serves 8 Saute in 2-3 tbs. oil 1 Medium onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced Add 2 cans (16 oz each) tomatoes, broken up 3 1/2 cups cooked kidney beans (or mix some black beans.) 1 1/4 cups bean water 2 tsp.vege bouillon 2 tsp. chili powder(or more to taste) 1/2 tsp cumin 3/4 tsp. salt 1 bay leaf 1 tsp honey 2 lbs. frozen tofu, thawed, rinsed, squeezed dry and crumbled.
