Guest guest
oh wow that sounds good with the maple syrup combined on it. I love to Pecan Patties, Toasted Pecans with savory, hot and sweet spices, in anything Chocolate, breads/muffins, cookies, in frostings, and of course on Ice Cream. Yummmmmmmm. Walnuts I like in all these things too. Pecans are big here. Most everyone has a Pecan Tree in their yards in this part of the country. I've got Hickory nuts in my yard and those nuts are good, but way to much work for the little bit you get from them..... Wish there was a hybrid of thoses that gave a lot more nut meat in them.. Almonds, brazil nuts, Peanuts, are kept in our freezer year around too, for just snacking on. Cashews are so good too. I love to sugar slivered almonds to go on my mandrin Romaine Salad...... So good! LOL I go nuts for Nuts, because I am a NUT! Guest guest
I've made Cornbread dressing before too and took Worthington " Turkey " slices and folded them like a taco shell and stuff each one with the cornbread stuffing mix. I lined them up in a casserole dish and baked them. We put the Worthington Fri-chik, cut into small diced pieces in our cornbread dressing. It is so good, but I love that Prosage and Jalopeno dressing even better.......... Website for Worthington products is here. http://www.kelloggs.com/brand/worthington/ What is your recipe for Cornbread dressing? Judy - PuterWitch Sunday, November 12, 2006 8:53 PM Re: Question of the Week I never liked the turkey anyway, what I will prepare is mashed potatoes and mushroom brown gravy, cornbread stuffing, candied sweets, creamed onions, and a few veggies like corn, peas whatever. The BIG ENTREE is never missed, LOL. My sister will be here this year so she will be making the t^ & %*$y, but even as a kid I never ate it. hugs, Chanda - wwjd v group Sunday, November 12, 2006 8:22 PM Question of the Week Our question of the week, this week is........
