What are some of your favorite Fall Cooking related things, indoor or outdoor that you enjoy this time of year?

My favorite is hot apple cider in front of the fire. I could gaze into the

fire for hours. Never have, too busy ::laughs::

 

I put a paddy of butter in the cider, it lends a richer consistency with its

slight buttery flavor. When time permits I also enjoy a shot of schnapps in

the cider. I know many are calling me a sissy, ::laughs:: I like sissy

beverages, give me a pina colada with one of those little umbrellas and I am

happy.

 

I digress, I apologize, ::laughs::

 

I also enjoy butternut squash soups, cinnamon and cardamom in the indoor

air, fireplace smells and cool crisp outdoor air.

 

 

 

This is my favorite season. I enjoy seeing the various costumes the

trick-or-treaters wear, especially the little ones. I enjoy the myriad of

colors that fall with the leaves in this season.

 

 

 

I enjoy the rest on the utility bill, neither gas nor the electric is in

peak :laughs::

you are so right about the cardamom if you are talking about me, LOL, oh and the

cinnamon too are my favorites, and the cider too. I will try that schnapps too!

LOL you are no sissy, you are sensitive, and we women love that so don't down

yourself, LOL.

 

I love my pumpkin pie candle, and I use pumpkin pie spice, or this spice called

5 spice or something, I think it is cloves cinnamon and some other things,

nutmeg etc. and I put that in my potpourri pot .... ahhhhhh.

 

I love this season too!
