Guest guest Posted October 16, 2006 Report Share Posted October 16, 2006 Spinach Burgers yields 12-15 burgers 10 ounces frozen chopped spinach , thawed 1 large potato 1 medium onion 1 medium bell pepper 1 cup French-style cut frozen green beans, thawed 1 Tbls. garlic powder 1 Tbs. dried chopped onions 1/2 tsp. paprika 1/2 cup BBQ sauce 1/2 cup bread crumbs (seasoned, if desired) 1/2 cups quick rolled oats tamari Dijon mustard herbs (tarragon, basil, parsley etc.) Thaw spinach and green beans. Microwave or boil potato until completely cooked and then finely chop. Finely chop onion and pepper and soften in microwave or saute pan. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly in large mixing bowl. Form into thin patties and grill on greased grill or in greased skillet. Serve on Kaiser Roll with sauted onions, dill pickle slices, ketchup, mayo of choice and cheese of choice.
